Finalmente se incorporó a la banda Juhani Aaltonen (saxofón/flauta) que había tocado anteriormente en la banda Soulset. Introduction

(Instrumental)

Deep Thinker

[Verse 1]
Changing times and movements
Confusing talk I hear
Easily slips right past me
Leaves an empty fear

[Chorus 1]
Anger forces itself from behing my eyes
I see red but I don't see well
I have to use my patience and it's breaking
Breaking a nerve and I feel like hell

[Verse 2]
Interchanging crossroads
No signs I see
Chancing a right turn
I think I don't believe

[Chorus 2]
I pass the final climax the ultimate remains
Then fear creeps up behind my door
A scared face with every thought, yeah
I wake up and the light is broke

[Flute Solo]

[Guitar Solo]

[Chorus 3]
Anger forces itself from behing my eyes
I see red but I don't see well
I have to use my patience and it's breaking
Breaking a nerve and I feel like hell

[Verse 3]
Where is the dealer
I've reached a closing door
Noisily retreating
I reason all the more

I Love You Teddy Bear

[Verse 1]
Oh, it was nice to see your face
When I woke up by your side
The autumn sun was glowing in your eyes
And the leaves drifting past my mind

[Chorus 1]
The visions all seem so much brighter to me now
I feel much more confident to face a tougher world
You gave to me much more than your love
You gave to me the secret of your smile

[Verse 2]
And where were you two thousand years ago
When I needed someone desperately
The pain was almost too much to endure
And my life was empty and broken down

[Chorus 2]
Now I think of everything and everything is you
You walked in my life love, my happiness renewed
I love you more than you'll ever know
Lie here with me, ease my aching heart

Struggling For Freedom

[Verse 1]
Decided faces and undriendly smiles
Staring with eyes that just cannot believe
Living in squalor they hardly exist
The fruits of their efforts are swallowed with tears

[Chorus 1]
The past was good, older men say
Remember the life then, those were the days
Riding through fantasies with carefree grace
Living was easy, no worries to face
Now I'm searching for another escape
I wanna be free just to think and to write
No obstructions or people to hate
Freedom to wander, truth in my veins

[Verse 2]
Most of the people have given up hope
They strive for something they don't understand
Contented to watch the world pass them by
Not caring or hoping for love anymore

[Chorus 2]
What of the younger people today
What do they think, what do they wanna say
Are they happy with things as they are
Will they do something or go much too far
Their thoughts and their words are important to them
Speaking their minds they're immediately crushed
Confused in their hearts but love in their hearts
(Doing just nothing but) thinking they must

[Guitar Solo]

[Verse 3]
But now there's a light, it shines very dim
That needs someone to kindle the flame
Freedom will come but it's still far away
But we will have all that we hope for someday

’Tis Me, ’Tis You

[Verse 1]
I came this way dear
It was a life ago
You moved me more then
And touched my very soul

[Verse 2]
We went together
We never spoke a word
'Tis me, 'tis you dear
Now we can make it work

[Bridge]
I have never found out about love
Now that you are near I will learn

[Guitar Solo]

[Verse 3]
We are happy
As happy as we can be
Satisfaction
My love, 'tis you and me

Weather Brightly

[Verse 1]
Looking at the river throwing snowballs at the sun
Reflecting in the water there are suns for everyone
[?] 'cause he couldn't hear a scream
He's [?] life again
Tumbled from the river and then threw across the sky
Night descended quickly and the moon began to cry
Rain poured down quite heavily and washed the snow away
The sun returned again

[Chorus 1]
Shine on my home, shine in my room
Don't be afraid of rain
The sky battles on, elements change
Now I can think of you

[Verse 2]
Tumbled from the river and then threw across the sky
Night descended quickly and the moon began to cry
Rain poured down quite heavily and washed the snow away
The sun returned again

[Chorus 2]
Wind in my hair, snow in my mind
Looking across the sea
Hope in my heart, dreams of the earth
What do you think of me?

[Saxophone Solo]

[Verse 3]
Now it was the clouds, it was the time to get the act
They came in and attacked the sun and then the thunder cracked
In the center of the fight the rain returned again
[?]

[Chorus 3]
Shine on my home, shine in my room
Don't be afraid of rain
The sky battles on, elements change
Now I can think of you
Wind in my hair, snow in my mind
Looking across the sea

Sinking

[Verse 1]
The moon is dancing on my wall
Shadows cast through windows tall
Filtering through tall pine trees
My room is small and very neat
The smell of evergreen is sweet
Drifting trough my empty brain
Everything is cloudy now
Know I went wrong

[Bridge]
I must be dreaming, I cannot wake
I know I've made mistakes
But I cannot stop my wandering
My mind is far away
I guess the end can’t be long
The genius I had within
Extinguishing itself with a grin
I have reached it's final bend

[Instrumental]

[Verse 2]
I must be dreaming, I cannot wake
I know I've made mistakes
I cannot stop my wandering, yeah
My mind is far away
Oh no, everything is cloudy
I know where I went wrong

[Verse 3]
Face appears from time to time
So fair it is it pains my mind
Smiling gently through the haze
My arms extend to caress her hair
Skating over shoulders bare
When I touch she fades away

I’m Going Home Once Again

[Verse 1]
There's a lot I still want to do
And I'm going home once again for you
To a routine life
To familiar pastures
To a girl who waits

[Verse 2]
It's so hard just leaving this way
But I know that soon there will come a day
When there's nothing left
When I'm no longer useful
When I'm all alone

[Chorus 1]
And there's some distance I've put between us
And every mile I've wandered
It's the right thing that I've done
My heart is with her now
But not when I'm travelling on
Only when I stop and look around me
Does this compare with home

[Verse 3]
It's so hard just leaving this way
But I know that soon there will come a day
When there's nothing left
When I'm no longer useful
When I'm all alone

[Chorus 2]
And there's some distance I've put between us
And every mile I've wandered
It's the right thing that I've done
My heart is with her now
But not when I'm travelling on
Only when I stop and look around me
Does this compare with home

Tell Me More

[Verse 1]
Tell me more girl, tell me what you know
But don't cry girl, take it nice and slow
You've been dreaming, dreaming of the day
Now you're here babe, scared of being late

[Verse 2]
Forget the past babe, you're moving in with me
Lead your own life, don't be led too easy
I wanna keep you, you better understand
So come on now, help me lend a hand

[Chorus 1]
There's a lot I gotta tell you
And I know you care
We've been togethеr now for a long, long time
Now it's time for the major stеp

[Instrumental]

[Chorus 2]
There's a lot I gotta tell you
And I know you care
We've been together now for a long, long time
Now it's time for the major step

[Verse 3]
Forget the past babe, you're moving in with me
Lead your own life, don't be led too easy
I wanna keep you, you better understand
So come on now, help me lend a hand

Lounge

[Verse 1]
There's room for a crowd
Bigger than three and rug enough
Here most of us meet
And treat our souls to some company

[Chorus 1]
Pray
Grant me this waltz
For old times' sake
Listen, they're playing our song
Limp step from the bottom up

[Verse 2]
That was the time of our lives
You and me and going like a coin on the floor
All but one being
A quadruped in patent shiners and sneaky high heels

[Chorus 2]
Now
Don't start a scene
Those were the days
Glamorous memories

Waltz king with his false leg on

[Instrumental]

[Saxophone solo]

[Verse 3]
Drunk and disorderly
By closing time he's made a nuisancе out of himself
Something I wanted to say
Somеthing I wanted to say something I wanted
Dust off the thousand odd soles of tonight
Bristles and rustles the dark
Voices grown fewer and further between
No more than faint from the hall

[Outro]
Late
When the watchman does his round
Huddled up beneath a wall
Someone burns with a low blue flame

Lambertland

[Verse 1]
Slow full turn
Into turned on slow
Midnight tide pulled thin
On an even slope

Oyster tongue laid a moonbeam low and spat a rich
Wet pearl they say
Daylight riding like a whistle on the wind
That veers and trails

[Instrumental]

[Verse 2]
Broad mouth bell
Aching dumb with sound
Brazen ring peels off
In one long fat curl

Roaming like cloud shade on the water just before
Old sol come out
Curious bluging bleeder she always picks her way
Back home they say

[Verse 3]
Squeeze
And see the strain drew clean
Then plumb line right into the ground
She was a house in rain, and sifted down grain
Lean back nail
Tail racked white in heat

Scrap iron hinges double back on single spines
They're made that way
Rust bitten poker bust the window on a bridge
Of smoke they say

[Outro]
Same rash breaking out fresh
Itchy and sore
Sky locked sun she's glaring in a clench up and tight
Field hand dropping the hoe
Left it out there
Lost it somewhere getting out of Lambertland fast

Celebration Of The Saved Nine

(Instrumental)

The Bargain

[Verse 1]
Hey mister, I believe you brought around the mission
I've been waiting for
Those shoes sure look a mess but I can touch 'em up for you
In no time at all
No problem - I got all you need right here, a brush
A can of grease and a rag
Why don't you give an artist a break
And buy the best shine you ever had

[Pre-Chorus 1]
Do yourself a favor too
Chattanooga ain't got nothing on me
Can you find a better deal?

[Instrumental]

[Verse 2]
I'm dedicated to a cause and if it's lost
That's 'cause you want it to be
Hey mister, let me tell you who just blew
The bеst bargain in history

[Pre-Chorus 2]
Could've laid it good on you
Chattanooga's such a racket thesе days
Can you find a better deal?

[Chorus 1]
Help me mister
Give 'em a shine
Ain't no once-over
You can afford it
Two for a dime
Take it or leave it

[Bridge]
I think what's it to him if my shoes chew mud
They're a humble pair
They don't go for whatever he's holding in stock
I say some experts still get a kick out of shoes
We got feet inside
Brushwise, that's where the big tickle is
Blue suede made the grade
Hustlers please steer clear
Brown holed losing out
Cases like these can

[Chorus 2]
Help me mister
Give 'em a shine
Ain't no once-over
You can afford it
Two for a dime
Take it or leave it
Please...

Dance

(Instrumental)

Last Quarters

[Verse 1]
Stretch the letter
Out of season
Lines extended
Span the changes
I got it all wrong, I was impatient for proof
Styled refugee from something or other
Until the roof split over me

[Chorus 1]
Stay high for awhile
If you feel more secure that way
Then again, you can't put live coals back in the sack
You'll know by the fold
Of the fan when it's time to pack it away
And set up last quarters with a friend or a flag

[Verse 2]
Score the good words
Spliced like marble
Sat watching this slab, I was expecting a sign
All scrutiny too, reckon I was a real sucker
For some bag of tricks

[Chorus 2]
Stay high for awhile
If you feel more secure that way
Then again, you can't put live coals back in the sack
You'll know by the fold
Of the fan when it's time to pack it away
And set up last quarters with a friend or a flag

[Bridge]
Pig knuckles carved into a couple of rough dice
Go rattling for a total
Dog killer smiles, we told him do it again
Vinegar trickles in the mountainward chambers
Natural acid eat a trench one drop wide

Beasts of no burden but the names they must answer
Push with the cattle round a salty rock honing it down
Lick by lick
Hoof and mouth
On four sides
Reckless

Relatives meeting in two piece suits
Settled apart from their next of skin
Absolute pitch makes for seamless boots
Snug hug's a trade name in drag
(Plain clothes fit you so much better)
But if you're like me that don't make much sense
Takes something heavy to lift your ass
Unless they say you can get it fast
Most things don't warrant the rush

[Verse 3]
Considering, I don't think we're doing so bad
Can't teach a true peach being a prisoner
Skin all round and stone within

[Chorus 3]
Stay high for awhile
If you feel more secure that way
Then again, you can't put live coals back in the sack
You'll know by the fold
Of the fan when it's time to pack it away
And set up last quarters with a friend or a flag

Letras

Milky Way Moses

[Verse 1]
Under my window
Somebody callin' out my name
Under my window
Somebody callin' out again
Let me in
Let me in, I got some news
I can show you how the day breaks

[Verse 2]
Milky way Moses
Milky way milks the drink for me
Milky way Moses
He doesn't need to look to see

[Pre-Chorus 1]
High above the searchin' crowd
And safe beneath my cloud of dreams

[Chorus 1]
He sees sense behind impossible
Because he's got the eye
And he talks somehow invisible
I somehow understand
And hе's able to incredible
Bеcause I feel his will
And he penetrates unbreakable
Because he's on his way

[Instrumental]

[Guitar & Saxophone Solo]

[Pre-Chorus 2]
High above the searchin' crowd
And safe beneath my cloud of dreams

[Chorus 2]
He sees sense behind impossible
Because he's got the eye
And he talks somehow invisible
I somehow understand
And he's able to incredible
Because I feel his will
And he penetrates unbreakable
Because he's on his way

Caught From The Air

[Verse 1]
Get my kicks like an octopus donkey
I'm disturbed sick in my mind
Computers ain't able to gimme the pace
Chip on my shoulder, egg on my face
Wild frustrations gettin' me down
Fry my head in linseed oil
Serve with olives and that ain't all
Slice my tongue, do me good
Fill my nails with bamboo cane
Suck my thumb, sell my brain

[Verse 2]
Who's got time to gimme an offer?
I need help, any old kind
Computers ain't able to gimme a line
Feel a lot older all the time
Calculations gettin' me down
Try my hand at something new
Maybe buy a stamp or two
Slice my tongue, do me good
Fill my nails with bamboo canе
Suck my thumb, sell my brain

[Saxophone Solo]

[Guitar Solo]

[Verse 3]
I don't need advice on the wеather
Rain or shine, out of my mind
My TV is broken and radio too
Ain't got no records, lonely and blue
Practise death in the kitchen or loo
Cut down breathing, fake I'm sane
Hold my horses, blow my brain
Slice my tongue, do me good
Watch my stars and P's and Q's
Give up hoping, thinking too

[Verse 4]
Get some time to walk down the sewer
Then again, I couldn't be sure
My guru, he tells me to stand on my head
Transcend to the truth and live while I'm dead
Wild frustrations getting me down
Fry my head in linseed oil
Serve with olives and that ain't all
Slice my tongue, do me good
Fill my nails with bamboo cane
Suck my thumb, sell my brain

Jelly

(Instrumental)

Confusing The Issue

[Verse 1]
Mouldy sausage and chips with fried bread stuck on a plate
Dandruff under the egg and in my cucumber stew
And sandwiches too, gotta change shampoos or something
I can't cook for my life, and if I did I could die
Sardines can be alright, but not for day after day
Year after year, life after death, what the hell!

[Bridge]
Where can I buy a sachet of health?
I need a course for my frame of mind
Stand on my head, study a book or two
I need a course for my frame of mind
Life upside down could do things for me
Maybe improve my ambition too

[Chorus]
There again, I couldn't be cеrtain
Harmony is not the answer
If you work it out until the еnd
Here I go, confusing the issue
Never mind the only answer
Never mind, I'll twist my blues away

[Guitar Solo]

[Saxophone Solo]

[Verse 2]
I can't cook for my life, and if I did I could die
Sardines can be alright, but not for day after day
Year after year, life after death, what the hell!

[Outro]
Here I go, confusing the issue
I'll never, ever find the only answer
Never mind, what me worry
Got no worry, I'll twist my blues away
What me worry
Ain't got no worry
I'll twist my blues away-ay-ay-ay-yeah

How To Start A Day

[Part I]

[Verse 1]
Here I am again so safe beneath my eiderdown
And I feel so satisfied
Creepy winter mornings here, but I can't let that bother me
I give it a try
Maybe I should rub my chin and just pretend that I'm not in
(Give it a try, give it a try, give it a try)
Should I get up and make a cuppa' tea?
But there again
Do I have any tea leaves to spare?
Or maybe they're having a strike
And water is scarce

[Verse 2]
Either way or anyway, the problem; How to start a day
Can finish you off
And I twiddle my thumbs I feel insecurе
That's not all at all 'cause
I get to seeing things out of the bluе
And so I get out of bed
And play it real cool

[Part II]

[Verse 3]
And then I put my helmet on
And grab my plastic tommy-gun
Pink socks and L-shape underpants
Silk tie with dancing elephants
Blue jeans and crimson clogger boots
Sun shades with razored bamboo shoots
Eye patch and genuine pirate shirts
And twist until it starts to hurt
Owch!

[Flute Solo]

[Guitar Solo]

[Part III]

[Verse 4]
I get a buzz up here like no one knows
I get the shakes from here down to my toes
Shivers in my backbone to my brain
Down to my knees and up again

I get a buzz up here like no one knows
I get the shakes from here down to my toes
Shivers in my backbone to my brain
Down to my knees and up again

Oh, Lord and Moses, gonna be alright
Everyday is a saturday night
Don't care, don't care what the people say
Gotta, gotta, gotta start my day this way

Piece Of Mind

[Verse 1]
It's so hard to hope for piece of mind
Just that piece is sometimes hard to find
Right or wrong, I'm on the avenue
Which way to the truth, Sir; Anyway
"Could you tell me please which way to wade?"
No deal you heard it all before
Different when you cannot make the grade

[Verse 2]
Rum la baa baa, messed up milky brain
Milk can sometimes help you through the strain
Boiled eggs can be a gas, got their good points too
Yellow hearted and peaceful, best when underdone like me
But I see it sometimes gets too hard

[Outro]
Big deal, you heard it all before
Just tell me how or what's the score
Big deal, you heard it all before
